If you landed in Korea with only an Airbnb at first, what admin task broke earlier than you expected?

A lot of new arrivals do the “temporary place first, real housing later” plan, which makes sense until one random system suddenly wants a stable address right now. If you started out in an Airbnb or short-term place, what became annoying first? ARC application, bank setup, deliveries, internet, moving your address later, something else? Trying to figure out which part of this is mildly inconvenient versus genuinely disruptive.

For me it was anything that wanted a stable address before the ARC process was fully settled. The short-term stay itself was fine, but the annoying part came later when bank mail, deliveries, and phone-related verification all started assuming I could receive things at one consistent place. In Korea you can survive the first week on an Airbnb, but the friction ramps up fast once different systems start asking for an address that feels official.
