Did anything change with your Korean bank account or phone number when your visa was close to expiring?

I am not even talking about full account closure. More the annoying middle zone where transfers get limited, apps stop behaving normally, or a carrier suddenly wants updated documents right when you are already dealing with renewal. If this happened to you in Korea, what changed first and which bank or carrier was it?

Yes, the weird part is it does not always fail in one obvious way. Sometimes the bank account still exists but transfer limits tighten, or the carrier suddenly wants updated status before certain verification features behave normally. If someone is getting close to expiry, I would check banking app limits, remittance access, and whether the phone line is still fully usable for 본인인증 before it turns into a same-day problem.
