Did your Korean bank suddenly get weird about transfers when your visa or ID details changed?

I keep hearing that this is where random banking problems start. Not full account closure, just weird stuff like lower transfer limits, app errors, or being told to visit a branch in person. If this happened to you in Korea, what changed first and which bank gave you the most trouble? I am more interested in the annoying real-life version than the official policy version.

Yes, and the annoying part was that nothing looked fully broken at first. The app still opened, but transfer limits changed and one identity check kept failing after my renewal. What helped was going to the branch with the new ARC and asking them to confirm both visa expiry and English name fields, because sometimes only one side gets updated.
