yes i can help with you for sure
I would join if it stays beginner-friendly and not too textbook-heavy. Somewhere near Banwoldang or Kyungdae would probably get more turnout than a random outer neighborhood cafe.
Would you want it more like vocab practice or actual speaking? I think a lot of foreigners in Daegu need a low-pressure place to practice survival Korean without feeling embarrassed.
If this gets moving, I would keep it very practical for the first few weeks, like ordering, asking for help, hospital basics, and landlord messages, instead of making it feel like another class. In Daegu, somewhere around Banwoldang or Kyungdae would probably keep turnout better because people can get there without thinking too hard about the trip home.
This would probably work better if the first meetup has one very specific theme instead of “general Korean.” Something like cafe ordering, 병원 reception, or talking to the landlord about a repair gives shy beginners a reason to show up. In Korea, people are much more likely to come out once it feels immediately useful rather than another abstract language exchange.
