What finally made KTX or SRT booking in Korea feel normal for you?

At first it seems like there are five different ways to book and at least two of them fail for reasons nobody explains. If you live in Korea now, what ended up being your reliable setup for train tickets? Korean app, website, station machine, different card, different account setup, anything like that.

Honestly, booking got easier once I stopped trying every platform and picked one routine. For KTX I trust the official Korail app more than random reseller flows, and for busy weekends I check seats a bit earlier than I would back home because Friday evening routes disappear fast in Korea. Also, if card payment keeps acting up, station pickup is still a perfectly normal fallback here.
