Which bank has been the least annoying for foreigners lately?

I need a normal account for salary + transfers and I’m trying to avoid the whole branch lottery thing. Some people keep saying Hana, some say KB, and a few told me Toss is easier if you already have your ID sorted. If you opened one this year, which bank actually gave you the fewest restrictions?

I still hear the most consistently decent stories about Hana and sometimes KB, but the annoying truth is that branch competence matters almost as much as the bank name. In Korea, a branch near a university or business district usually handles foreign customers more smoothly than a random neighborhood branch that rarely does it. If you already have your ARC, local phone number, and employer or school info lined up, your odds get better fast.
