Which bank has been the least annoying for foreigners lately?

I finally have my resident card sorted and now I'm choosing between just taking whatever bank is closest or going a bit farther for fewer headaches later. Main things I need are a debit card that works normally, app access that doesn't turn into a puzzle, and decent overseas transfer options. Recent experiences?

Hana still seems to come up most often, but I would honestly choose the branch before the bank brand. A branch near a university, tech office area, or immigration-heavy neighborhood usually handles foreign registration and weird name-format issues much more calmly than a random local branch. If overseas transfers matter, I would also ask specifically what still requires an in-person reset later, because that is where Korea banking gets annoying again.
