What got unexpectedly harder for you while waiting for your ARC to actually arrive?

I feel like the official answer is always just "wait a bit," but real life does not pause while your ARC is in limbo. Phone plans, banking, online verification, even basic signups can get weird fast. If you went through that in Korea, what part was the most annoying and what workaround actually helped until the card showed up?

The most annoying part was not one big blocked task, it was how many medium-sized things turned half-functional at the same time. Phone plans, bank setup, delivery apps, and identity checks all kind of work until one step suddenly needs the physical card or matching registration. If someone is in that gap now, I would prioritize the few things that unlock other systems first, especially a usable number and any bank branch willing to work with the receipt.
